Since Prince Charles and the Royal family are in the news lately I thought I'd post these pictures taken at the Investiture of Prince Charles as Prince of Wales on 1st July 1969. These were scanned from my slides on to my computer and hence the IQ is not very good. It is also possible that I may have posted some of these pictures some years ago and if so my apologies but I hope some of the new members will like to see these,UNREPEATABLE, pictures. I was present at this ceremony and from the pictures you will note the absence of all security in the good old days. I hope you will enjoy these.
