    Volcanic Landscapes..

Sorry everyone to bore you again with my trip to Lanzarote, but some lovely scenery there - especially when taking an not so off road "off-road safari jeep tour". (For bigger versions of the pics, click through to see them in flickr)

At times, it was like looking out across a moon:

and into the vineyards there to try the local wine - the circle walls are built to protect the vines and there are hundreds and hundreds of them out there.

I do like the second and last one Andy. Perhaps a tiny bit of de-haze in LR may bring the contrast up? Just a little though.

        Thanks Tony and Ian.

I will search out a refresher on the dehazing LOL - already had to pester Tigger regarding some old videos to remind myself how to use LR and PS. I have fiddled with the clarity slider a bit on them but didn't want to over do anything.

Edited: LOL - found the dehaze slider - will have a fiddle around with that on Sunday as a few pictures need it slightly. thanks for the reminder.

What an interesting, desolate landscape. As you say, could be on the Moon, or Mars by the colouring.

I really like the second image, I visited there a number of years ago but went up late afternoon and sa w the sun go down it really lit up the colours in the rocks, very beautiful.
