    Bones

I know the processing won't be for everyone, but the location was awful so had to loose as much detail as I could from the front...also wanted a spooky feel due to subject :)

Ian, keep experimenting and being creative. It'd be a very dull world if we all took identical photos. ;)

I like it but it does not say landscape to me

          Re: Bones

I totally agree with Andy on this one.
I don't like it a lot as a subject....but your processing is appropriate....so its good from that viewpoint.

I have loads of posts that don't receive comments.....but then I post rubbish sometimes (not that this is in any way)

Don't think this is landscape, but I do like the image and the perspective you used. Ian

              Re: Bones

cheers for the feedback guys. I wasn't sure where to post it plus some of the more specialised sections here often get missed

thanks Andy I do like to be creative and try pushing the boundaries, sometimes this works, other times it doesn't as in this case

glad you enjoyed the image Stan, cheers mate

I do try to make a comment on images Brian, even if I don't like it as I find it disappointing when a posted image gets no feedback, although often her posting do get missed due to the volumes of wildlife posted here

              thanks Tom

                Re: Bones

                Ian.

Sorry I did look and have to say came away with the intention of revisiting it and commenting as at the time I actually didn’t know what to write.

I would probably say it’s a marmite picture as truthfully I don’t know whether I like it or not and it’s one of those that as said you either like it or “hate” it (although hate is a strong word).

Looking again, I’m sorry to say I like the idea of something different but still not sure on this. I think the skulls should be turned slightly more to face each to get more “facial” feature and bone shadows from them. The front windscreen is too bright and seems to over highlight a bit for a spooky picture.

All personal opinions so please don’t take offence.

As said though keep experimenting as it’s nice to see different things.

                  thanks Andy ...

I wasn't allowed to move them .. the reason for the blown out windows was the fence and plants directly in front as the car was in a garden center

I know many of my shots are marmite, but just clicking away at a scene and posting an image isn't for me. Some you please others you dont, and no offence taken at all mate

Well I like it and heading towards a bright white light somehow seems appropriate

                    Cheers,
