A little small here Chris, but looks quite stunning on Flickr. A testament to the shots available when most photographers would be tucked up at home.

Try re-sizing to 800 x 450 and see how it looks.

      Very nice (on flickr).

I found downloading the link to embed as 1024 x ... (Large) was a good one to post in forum.

Lovely image that really shows the contrast between storm and sunlit pier

          Cheers,

Lovely! It definitely warrants a view on Flickr for the full impact, though.

Hadn't seen this one. Worth getting wet for this shot. Personally I would have liked to have seen a bit more of the groynes just showing bottom left.

Looks great on Flickr, really pops. I would always recommend 800 wide for the forum. In terms of the composition perhaps it would be worth trying to lose a little of the sky; it would emphasise the pier without losing a drama; just a thought......

Very atmospheric. Having looked at the big version on Flickr I'd personally be inclined to either clone out or trim off the bits of groyne visible in the bottom left corner - they're not overly distracting but they don't add anything and are a bit untidy for me.

                          Otherwise very
