    Deer in the bracken

    Hi All,

    Have been away for a couple of days and had an hour looking for Deer

              A lovely shot. I see that you used a 300mm lens, but how far away would you have been from the Deer? My longest lens is 135mm, I can never get close enough to living things (even people), without them getting spooked. :)

                  Thanks all for the kind comments, appreciated as always.

                  Andy, this was taken at Bradgate Park, Leicestershire, it is what you might say a 'Target rich environment' the Deer are very close, I got some shots with my 24 - 70mm, they are very used to People, a lot of the time 300mm was too long.

                  If anyone wishes to go, the best entrance is in the Village of Newtown Linford, just off the A50 and close to the M1, park up walk 50 yards and there they are, or at least they have been on my last two visits.
