    Southwold Harbour

A few shots from a walk around Southwold Harbour, which is on the River Blyth to the south of the town. There is a pub, a restaurant, several places to buy fresh fish & seafood and working boatyards.

And yes, I'm still experimenting a little with NIK plugins - comments welcomed!

Thanks for looking, chaps. Although I liked them all (I wouldn't have posted them otherwise) for varying reasons, my preference was towards #2 as well!

                    Re: Southwold Harbour

No 2 is the pick of the set, a classic mono scene nicely done. I find No 1 a bit busy and the background while appropriate feels a bit fussy and intrusive - might have been an occasion for a bit less DOF. The third is a nice study of a style of boat less seen in this day and age - a nice record shot and that's not damning with faint praise either.

Missed this first time round Chris. We really like Southwold and try to get up there once or twice a year. Excellent images and I also particularly like the mono.
