both work well but the mono edges it as it fits more with the period but for the people but you could probably remove them if you wished

I like Stan's quick edit and was intending to have a go myself at removing the people. I find it quite difficult to get a really good result on these occasions, must practice more.
I suppose it's what we want out of the shot or what it will be used for.
I'm surprised that nobody commented on the figure on the extreme left or perhaps you are all too polite!

Lovely frame-filling image, Bob. Although the mono works well I prefer the colour, but without the people. Gosh aren't we all so hard to please!
