    charity boxing

Can't believe it's been a year since our last charity boxing event - Not quite motorsports but exciting all the same, something a little different - helped Cory to cover the charity boxing event for her boxing gym - I was stood on the outside of the room to try and give a different perspective to Cory who was ringside, very tricky / harsh lighting - people and ropes amongst other things to make it just that little bit more challenging lol.

Very nice David and well captured your probably in the better position than Cory.
I did some ring side shooting of boxing and found it very difficult to get anything decent the ropes were in the way /ref in the way /lights directly shining in my face /not an enjoyable experience and i was so looking forward to the evening lol

            Thanks guys, always appreciated!!

Paul - agree it's a very tricky sport to cover, Cory has managed some really good shots between the ropes but the looking up angle doesn't always work. The light blocks they use are multi LED units on the corner posts as you can see here:

Had lot's of shots of the back of the ref - he was aware of us and did move around when he could which was good of him, also had the phone muppets that had to hold them in direct line of sight which made it a little more fun [roll eyes]

One thing I must remember for next time - EAR PLUGS - jee's them women can scream at the fighters, forget the very little black dresses, all fades into the background when the action starts lol.

Good set David in tricky conditions, #2 & #3 would be my picks.
