    Cork, Ireland

I shot these last night during a walk in Cork, I was lucky with the light. Having not been before I may have not chosen the best locations but from what I managed to see its a place with lots of photographic opportunities ...this is a colour set, all 100D with 24mm and 50mm STM (Ill post a 'street' set separately)
    ....any comments welcome....

Really good and varied set, Brian.
The third stands out for me too. Not so sure about the top portion of the last, though, if I'm honest - to me that image is all about the neon lighting and the reflections, less about the background lit windows.
And yes, a Rory Gallagher fan here. Hear them Bullfrog Blues! A real regret of mine I never saw him before his tragically early death.

                  Re: Cork, Ireland

You do get about a bit! Don't think I've ever seen any pictures of Cork before, looks interesting.

I don't know whether it's just me but somehow the river in the first image appears to be flowing downhill! Anyone else getting that (no jokes about Irish water skiers required either...)

And yes I remember Rory Gallagher - and when he was young too...

                    Re: Cork, Ireland

Thanks Nigel....I'm thinking the water should be flowing downhill....but of course it should appear flat....I get what you're saying but don't think I can do anything about it....maybe its the bridge and other shapes making it appear that way.

yes I've been getting about...some bad planning on my part lead to three separate visits to Ireland in the last 12 days....thanks for commenting and not getting bored!
