    Kingfisher- my second ever sighting in UK

    Taken at the Big Pool wood nature reserve. Not sure which is the better image. I am of course thrilled to have seen and taken these. Now, I don't have to go down south to Blashford for my KF pictures!!

    the first has a more natural colour and is a bit sharper than the second. Looks like you got quite close

          well done Nat, I've seen them flying past me whilst walking around streams here, but having an 11mm lens on won't do me much good LOL

                super nat ,my shots were obscured by twigs ,gutted . it seems to follow you comes in every time your there

                    I was lucky this time as the KF landed a bit closer than for my first ever picture, but it took off immediately. It was also the first time I have gone out with my camera since my leg problem, which is much better.Thanks for your comments Stan,Colin,Neonlamp,Ian (tigger),Brian,Leeperry,Jeff and Trev.
