The b&w show the true Stevenage, a dull place, that I used to attend in the Fire Service. One thing going for it was it used to be the home of the Vincent motorcycle. Nicely portrayed set.

That's a really good black and white set. I live in Letchworth, 7 miles away and you've portrayed Stevenage town centre well; it definitely needs a make over. Stevenage is not all bad though; the Old Town is interesting and some of the shopping areas on the town outskirts are good - including one with a brand new Gin Palace of a Debenhams. Good set of images though; I particularly like the composition of the third with the movement of the cyclist.

Thanks All...yes its a bit dull at this end of town where my hotel was situated....as you say Tony the old town is interesting and completely different, we went to an Indian there on Monday....lots of character in the high Street.
Stevenage gets a bad reputation for the arcade design new town but it has more good than bad I'm sure.

                    Re: Stevenage

Doesn't seem to have changed much from when I worked there in the 70's.

3rd Shot for me as well
