    Praia Marinha, Algarve

Couple of photos from the same spot. The second is one of my first attempts using a big stopper for a milky sea effect.

Like the tonal differences in 1 as it pops nicely. Like the effect on the water, but the rocks feel a bit flat compared to the 1st image. Combinr the two and you have the makings a a beautiful image IMO

Nice images but Tom may well be onto something there; well worth a try. Be careful, the Big Stopper can be quite addictive

        Re: Praia Marinha, Algarve

Far better than any of my 'big stopper' attempts (but I was using a welding glass ).

Seeing both together I would have to agree the first does expose (pun not intended) the lack of clarity in the second but, perhaps, that can be improved in post?

        Cheers,
        John

agree with John this could be worked on in PP and sorted. Number 2 is the one I prefer as well

Prefer number two but would add more clarity to make the rocks sing. As Tony says, once you've started with this big stopper malarkey, it gets you....

Thanks for your comments and suggestions. I'll work on the PP for the second photo to try and improve it. I hear what you say about using the big stopper!
