      Carol you are putting some great shots on the forum at the moment & this is definitely one of the best. The front foot missing brigade my disagree, but I like it.

          Another good image Carol. Bit more space to left and include the front foot would have been good.

              Thank you everyone. I take the point of the missing foot part. I did take a short before the horse reached me, which has complete feet.

                    Re: Tom the Shire at work

                    I did like the first one even though I thought it a pity it lacked space on the left and bottom but the second addresses that and has produced a fine image that suits mono perfectly. Yes, very nice indeed

                    Cheers,
                    John

                      Second is better IMHO.

                      Nice shot, maybe try a bit of sepia?

                        Re: Tom the Shire at work

                        Much prefer the tighter crop, framing and positioning of the original, and the monk conversion works a treat here... I reckon that with just a little jiggery-pokerey you could extend the canvas a tad, and clone in the front foot if you had a mind to do so... Regardless, me likely...
                        Cheers;

                            I would love to be able to do "jiggery-pokery" as you suggest, Lee, but a bit beyond me I fear. Thank you for the idea though.
