    New processing

    I'm trying to produce an earthy understated feel that seems to be quite fashionable at the moment....I'd welcome opinions.

    Re: New processing

    Hi Brian; I don't dislike this, but I don't think it does muttly any favours! It looks like you may have used a monochrome layer to de-saturate??? If so, you might try masking over the dog, so it stands out against the muted background... Might be worth a try...
    Cheers;
    Lee

          Re: New processing

          I like the process you've used but its not done muttly any favors as Lee said, sort the guy out and I think you've got a nice shot

          as for trying new processes isn't that what photography is about trying out new ideas to see what works or not :)

              As Ian said, it's good to try new things but this just seems lacking in contrast to me.

                Re: New processing

                I try to do 10 new things in photography every year.

                Generally, only one of them works!

                  Thanks everyone...yes its about trying new techniques and not all work out.
                  it would be good to develop an individual signature style.....but I do agree with Richard ref being fashionable.

                    Don't think I need to repeat all that have been said, but for stepping out of the box Brian
