    Red Deer

    A bit of a Marmite image, you'll either love it or hate it! Taken a few years ago. Found it when I was editing some old images. Taken in Richmond Park. The background was in deep shadow while the deer was lit by late afternoon light. I did clone out some green leaves.

    EOS 1DIII with 500mm f/4L IS lens.

    Thanks for looking.

    I’d rather have more at the bottom of the frame

          Good for me, I like dark backgrounds.

            BG works, bit more at bottom of the frame would have been nice.

                Agree with Tom... I think the image might be improved with toning down the harsh light on the face.
                Cheers;
