    African Wild Dogs

    Found these wild dogs along the Sand river at Mala Mala in the Sabi Sand, South Africa. They are normally in larger packs but these were 3 males on their own. Wild dogs are critically endangered throughout Africa so it was a privilege to spend some time with them.

    EOS 1DX with 300mm f/2.8 L IS II lens and 1.4 III converter.

    Thanks for looking.

    Hi Brian; #2 is to die for; great capture... finally got to see Wild Dogs in Kruger in September... two days running... but shots nowhere near as clear and clean as these. Very jealous...
    Cheers;

                  Stunners Brian and made me so envious , after numerous trips to various countries in Africa they remain my nemesis , both shots are great but I prefer the group shot .

                          Thanks Brian and Andrew. You're quite safe in a safari vehicle. Watching them hunt is an experience you won't forget in a hurry!

                            I like them both , I watched two domestic dogs work together on Rabbits , most clever they were , and got their dinner .
