    Not been able to sort an ID as yet

    Fungi come in all weird shapes and colours.

    Not seen this form myself but this is a very nice image, exposure is really good.

        As always, although I have a number of books, it is always difficult to get a definite ID from any of them. This one along with a few others I put up on Wild About Britain and so far no one has come back with ID on any of them

            no one has come back with an ID but looking again in my encyclopedia of mushrooms it looks like it is going to be one of the funnel shaped fungi, according to the book either aphyllophorales or phragmobasiodiomycetes family but which one who knows
