The Hermitage Looking Upstream part 2 "Tourists favourite".

I was reminded about this viewpoint by a comment David made on my earlier thread (LINK) with a bit of a clue in this thread title.
This image was taken from the balcony of Ossian's Hall which is one part of a National Trust Scotland (NTS) venue. It's well worth calling in if you're passing and are there early to miss the crowds. Wonderful autumn colour and plenty of water in the River Braan.

As always your thoughts and comments are welcome.

    Peter

That’s more like it, though a tad better than the average tourist.

Excellent....the movement of the water is well captured and the river makes a nice curve through the image.

Very nice again Peter. Lovely colours. I would have liked to have seen a bit more of the height of the water cascade though.

Nicely captured Peter. I can almost hear the water rushing down.

I would have too John. But I was shooting over the top of a balcony rail (I cropped a smigen off the bottom to remove a bit of visible top rail.
I did look at shooting through the bars but couldn’t get the lens between them, plus I was getting spray off the river on the lens.

Thanks Colin, It was quite noisy, in fact the day before I had trouble hearing the wedding ceremony inside the hall with the doors to the balcony closed.

Thanks Brian it is a great location, very photogenic with the autumnal colours.
I just wished that I had had time to explore for other view options a little further upstream.

Like that a lot, Peter, really strong foreground then the water leads back to the slightly mysterious and intriguing haze.
