    Torosay Castle gardens.

    Nice view. I think the garden building just needs lightening to improve things.

      Good compostition Alistair - the balustrade leads the eye in and to the left of the image and then the sea leads you back to the centre.

      I think it might be worth following up on Andrews suggestion of lightening the building, but I would not overdo it.

        I think this works exceptionally well...in leading the eye through the image to the castle....I agree as above regarding lightening the shadows.

          Have done as suggested and lightened the shadows a bit. The light was not the best being around midday, so contrast was high.

            That is what I had in mind, although the sky more natural in the first shot
