    They're horrible. Absolutely horrible, and I wish I'd taken them both

    Not too much in the way of autumn colours around this way as most leaves were blown off before they had a chance to turn

    Both lovely images, Andrew. I agree with other's comments about cropping up on the first - it focuses our view more on the view beyond plus it reduces the issue (for me - may not be an issue for others) of the wall being clipped.

    Oooh yes, that addresses all of mine. Great texture on the stonework, great difference of light and shade, interest in the water and then stillness beyond for the reflections. Lovely image.
