        Hi Stan;

        Very pleasant image, but (and it may well have been how it was) I suggest that the lighting looks a little flat! I had a very quick play, and a simple level/curves adjustment would take care of that! Simples!
        Cheers;

          A lovely image Stan, but I have to agree with Lee about the lighting.

                  Hi Stan;

                  Here you go... For the benefit of reviewers who might be interested...

                  1. I made a simple Levels adjustment layer; Blacks to 20, MidPoint to 1.10 and Whites to 220

                  2. This introduced some yellow to the grass, so I made a Hue/Saturation adjustment layer, picked yellow, used the eye-dropper to select a bright area of grass, and reduced saturation by 15 points, then masked off the mouse so it wasn't affected...

                  3. Then, because I prefer warmer tones, using Nik's Viveza module, I increased global warmth by 10 points...

                  Let me know when/if you want me to bring the image down...

                  If you do a side-by-side comparison in Photoshop, you can see the difference clearer... HTH...
                  Cheers;
                  Lee

                    Re: Harvest Mouse

                    Thanks for your ideas Lee There is not a great difference but see what you are getting at

                    I have duplicated your workflow on the high res version and looking at Viveza, which I have not really used in the past, I think there would be even greater impact in pushing warmth a bit further - up to about 20
