Dee and I are currently doing a course in connection with the LRPS which at the moment comprises trying out different techniques each fortnight, the current being focus stacking.
This one is shot with my 100 f2.8 L IS macro, the shell on a sheet of black perspex, live view and 36 frames and blended with photoshop. Although with a single frame there is a good chance most of the front of the shell would have been in focus, the tail was way off the focal plain
