      Nice, but I prefer the second one. With the first one, the light on the Harriers doesn't match the rest of the shot as well. To my eyes, anyway.

        Hi Tony,

        I do like both pictures. However, I think the balance isn't quite right because of the way the pictures have been cropped - the rule of 1/3rds doesn't really work. If I was cropping the pictures, I would keep the 2 x3 ratio picture, but crop closer to the Harriers. I would add, I don't really like elongating a pictures and much prefer to keep the standard 2 x3 picture ratio. I still think you've done a good job with the pictures, though. I do enjoy night photography, myself.

          Are these flying Tony ? I don`t think the light on the planes works that well . But nice to see them .

            Second one works really well but do agree that the first suffers from a colour balance issue between the sky and planes and tarmac

            It's easily fixed in post...

              Thanks guys, overall it seems you think it works, I just need a couple of tweaks, will have a go and pop up another attempt
