weird starling

first time out with the new 80D this morning in very flat grey light ,and got this one .its a starling but I have never seen one in black and white before it was also flocking with fieldfares and redshanks ,no other starlings around ? this is NOT photoshopped its more or less S.O.C

Nice photo Jeff , have had Starlings with odd white feathers , but not as heavily as this one . Nice looking bird .

A leucistic starling? Got a leucistic crow that feeds in our garden - suspect its whitening is from old age. Same happening to me...

The feather detail on that is beautiful. I know starlings have some great irridesecence on their feathers but never seen anything like this.

Never seen a Starling that colour.
