    Fieldfare

    Walking home late afternoon I spotted them, so I had dreadful light and they were at a heck of a distance (700mm crop), but got a couple of them and the Redwing that was hanging out with them..

      Nicely composed, but on my monitor it appears that the brightness could be bumped up a little

        Thanks all, Thanks Tom, I will look at home, it appears darkish on my work PC, how are these, as the were taken at the same time as the top one.

            Nice one Tony! The first one does look a little dark compared to the others but for 700mm in poor light it's pretty damned good. I'd be pleased with it anyway. Still yet to see any Fieldfares round here but did have Redwings in the garden a week or so ago, unfortunately not in a place where I could easily get a decent shot.

                The second two are better but all look a little dark on my screen , lovely composed shots though especially the first one and well done on the Springwatch page

                    First is a bit small in the frame but good detail and one more than i have seen down here
