    Tower in the Lake

When I took the shot I knew just how it was going to be processed and got it pretty near what I wanted, although did take some work

      Re: Tower in the Lake

      thanks Stan...

I had fun getting this as there was a wall going right around the edge of the water. So to get the low viewpoint I wanted I needed to put the camera into live mode, attached a cable release and reach over placing the camera right on the edge of the water.. It was then I needed to put a stick under the lens to get the right angle LOL.... needless to say my hand wasn't far away from the camera just in case it slipped

Very nice. I hate to ask though, that's not the infamous Luminar Sun Rays effect is it?

thanks Andy. When I first looked at the shot on my Mac L18 wasn't around and had an idea to process it very similar, but with L18 yes added the infamous rays ....

Ps what's the luminar and where would I find it?

At least they're applied with a subtle hand and I had to ask rather than be sure from the shot. Most of the other examples I've seen have been truly hideous

It's a relatively new photo editor available here: https://macphun.com/luminar One of the features in the 2018 version, just out, is the ability to simulate sun rays. Some have taken that to simulation to extremes which are truly horrible...
