    I've burnt my boat!

Well not my boat but hopefully you'll get my drift with the title.

I wasn't sure about converting this image to mono as I'm never comfortable with this type of processing. For this I used camera raw in Photoshop following a tutorial in a book by a person whose first name begins with an "S" and the surname beginning in "K". Sometimes it's good to practice. But I may return to the image and try it with NIK filters.

As always your thoughts/comments are welcome.

    Peter

It's nice Peter - but I have to follow the herd regarding the turbines.

I like it, the turbines are there, live with it. Shows old & new together. Well done Peter.

A great subject for mono. I generally like the composition - the classic three-quarter viewpoint is fine - but I think it's a pity you weren't just a few inches lower to separate the mid section of the boat from the skyline. Yes, definitely lose the turbines

            Cheers,
            John

least with good editors we no longer have to just "live with it" it will take a few seconds to remove them
