      Super super picture Mark,

Bloody awful things, cook at the front, freeze your bollocks off at the back and it took 10 hours!! to Gander ( Newfoundland ) to do an engine change, I came back in under 5 in the Ten after we had changed the engine. Lost counts of the time I had to fly in them.
      Canon 1DX, 50D, EF500 F4.0 L, EF100-400 f/4.5-5.6L I , EF100-400 f/4.5-5.6L II, EF70-200 f/2.8L II, EF180 f3.5L Macro, EF 24-105 f/4L, EF17-40 f/4L, EF2.0X III, EF1.4X III, 430EX II, MR-14EX...

                  I

Went thursday just gone, was minus 12 up there in the wind and nowhere to shelter.

I will say anyone who plans to go even in summer take extra clothing good walking boots and plenty to eat and drink, Those mountains make their own weather and its can be evil in summer as well its also quite dangerous as its very steep and muddy in places with rocks all over the place, In the 6 or 7 years ive been going i've heard of several broken legs and ankles 1 death a few months ago from a guy just walking up there got lost in the mist and died of hyperthermia that was 3 months ago and 2 weeks ago a guy fell on Corris and broke his femur, that is I believe your thigh bone and the biggest strongest bone in your body.

So do take care, do your homework and if nothing comes thru (and thats possible) just enjoy the gorgeous scenery.

                    Sound advice.
I wonder how many go and only think about camera equipment.
