    Default Dunnock after micro adjustment

My test cards arrived and I performed the microadjust on the Tamron 150-600mm. It needed adjusting by -15 at the long end. Nothing much in the garden and its mizzling and windy so didn't feel like going further afield. So settled for portraits of a dunnock to test the adjustments. I had to use a high ISO due to the minimal light.

Thank you, Dawsey. Maybe the lens will be more usable now.

Looks like a keeper to me Carol

I may have to give this MFA a crack myself...

Does your camera support near and distance M/A carol, as in my experience adjusting distance can affect near and vice-versa . -15 does sound rather a lot though . I presume you did the testing tripod mounted, single shot mode, lens at its widest aperture .

Went through all this a while back and it turns out it was a faulty camera

I did set up the camera on the tripod and the card was on the worktop up against the wall at the far end. Camera was on single shot, wide open (6.3) aperature.

However, I didn't do the wide end of the zoom, as that seemed ok. I will have to test it now to see if the adjustment affected it at all. Thanks.

As I recall, the 7D2 does long and short-end Micro Adjust...
