    Back to the Kingfisher

    Hi All,

Thankfully, at least the Male has survived the cold when the water was completely frozen over for a few days.

Here he is sat looking for food over the water, on a natural perch this time, still a busy background though

Shame you can't get a clear background - so lucky at Blashford where perches against a clear background are the norm. Nice and sharp though

I am struggling with Flickr at the moment; it won't allow me to login. So here is Paul's image with a marginally better background, although the quality from a direct upload isn't as good.

Goodness me Colin, thankyou, what a difference that makes, would love to see the Flickr version when you are allowed in. I really must put some time and effort into learning Photoshop instead of just LR.

                            Thanks again

Two very nice shots but I agree with the messy background comments.

I would have thought, anyone who is hoping to improve their photography.
