    Variations on a theme

Rather than just posting the final edit of an "arty" sort of image. I've brought a selection of images to this thread, all of the same subject but with variations of processing.

However I'm not sure that #3 was worth the time spent processing it but it does have IMHO something more about it than the original. But it I realise that it probably be to everyone's taste.

#1 The starting point, processed as per my normal work flow. It's one of those "shall I bin it or not" images that probably wouldn't normally see the light of day.

#2 Processed as #1 above but this variation is really only a white balance tweak to Tungsten.

#3 Once again the same subject (but possibly a different frame). Initial base processing as #1. Then taken in to PS using inversion and then Fractalius2 filter.

I like 3 the best, as there are more lines and tones to hold my interest.

Number two looks very wintery and like something that you'd find as a phone screen back ground but still has a "something" about it.

number 3, because of the range of different colours and the detail in the lines going in various directions, both missing in the first two
