    Castle Howard - ICM

Hi all, I thought I'd share a photo from November last year. I'd gone over to the Great Lake at Castle Howard, with a vague plan to take some long exposure photos. As it turned out, it was far too windy, so I gave up on the idea.

I tried some intentional camera movement shots, most of which didn't work out, but here's the one that I liked.

I rather like the etherial quality of that Andy, but the grass isn't adding much to the shot. I would consider cropping part, or all of the grass to improve the interest and composition.

              Thanks chaps.
Colin, that's a fair comment, regarding the crop. The lower portion is the Lake, you might 'just' be able to see the Swans? I usually like to keep my images in a 3:2 format, just in case I want to print them at home.
