Excellent series Richard, thanks for sharing them. How much time do you spend creating these composite images ?

Thanks Peter - like most of us here, I can play for hours! Sometimes I go back to an image for a second or third go. I produce a lot fewer images than I used to, but I do put a lot more work into each piece...

Here is one I have re-visited. The original is the fifth one in the series above:

Pushing towards the limits... by Richard Anderson, on Flickr

I know I am pushing at the limits here!

I am a great admirer of your work, but please just post one image at a time ................. that way I don't have to spend hours choosing a favourite.

I had just about settled on number 5 and then you re-worked the image, so I am more confused than ever!

Totally agree with all the comments, I am in awe, some of the first ones would look stunning as stained glass too.

You should contact some of the companies whose buildings are in the shots, i could see them using them.

Brilliant artwork....No 2 and 5 stand out for me....maybe the combination of blur and definition is more in balance.

Haha! More to follow! I am still developing my style or styles, hence the reworked number 5... But thank you very much for your words.

I hadn't thought about stained glass. I am intending printing some under acrylic for display which is as close as I get to stained glass And thank you for your kind comments...

Thanks Brian, I really appreciate that! I am still not quite sure where I am going in terms of definition and blur. I may also head more abstract. I guess my portfolio will include all varieties!

                          Re: London Bridge and thereabouts

Truly special artistic work as ever, Richard. Like most others, my faves of the original set are 2 and 5, which have the perfect mix of recognisable figures plus abstracted environments. For me, the background image of 1 is a touch too hard-edged, who am I to make suggestions, but I think it needs a touch more transparency. 3 and 4 if anything are the other way for me, perhaps too purely abstract. 6 and 7 I really like too, nearly as good as 2 and 5, but just without those points of human focal interest.
The reworked 5 is stunning, and I think my new favourite, but is clearly an evolution of your style.
                          Please keep sharing and inspiring.

Thank you very much indeed Alex. Yes, the reworked 5 is an evolution. Here is another "evolutionary" one...

Funnily enough, this last one has gone down well with some specialist art groups on Flickr and I have been invited to add it to half a dozen groups (which needless to say I have done!)

Wow, Richard, that last one is certainly special. Really like it, even though you've lost the sense of place (I wouldn't recognise it as being a bridge or that being the Shard at the back). So I suppose my worry is that it has great impact but less scope for creating future different images in the future.
