A lovely composition but I'm not sure about the sky. My eye seems to be picking out a fair bit of halo around the tower which may just be an optical illusion due to the sky (or my eyes!) but for me it does rather distract from what is otherwise an excellent image.

No halo around Chris .. the tower as I did do some work in PS to remove a halo around the chimney and looked carefully at the tower just to make sure - the clouds are light around it so I'm guessing its because of that its looking lighter

Edit - but I can see a little something going on that needs looking at, not so much a halo more a problem where the process has pulled an error in

Yeah, as I said, it could well be an optical illusion but I can't unsee it now

Well worth a trip to Flickr to see this larger, well captured and processed Ian[emoji106]

BTW Chris and I must go to the same opticians as I can see a halo on the left side of the tower!

                        Re: Little Church

Basically a good image but there are issues with the top half so do as Peter suggests and take a rewarding trip to Flickr. While there zoom in and scroll to eliminate all of the sky and, IMNSHO, you'll find an image packed with stunning detail and a far stronger composition concentrating on the alley and where it leads. This also removes the halos and slightly unnerving sky.

                        Cheers,
                        John
