    Vindicated and peeved

As some may know ,I recently had to send my sigma 150-600 sport away to be looked at as I wasn’t entirely happy with the results .luckily it’s just within its warranty period of 3yrs . Phoned them up this morning to check on progress and apparently there not happy with the resolution so it’s going to have to go back to sigma in Japan to be fixed there ,quoted between 6 to 8 weeks turnaround .at least it should come back 100%

That sounds a bit poor doesn't it. I guess they can't let you have a loan one during that period.

The delay is annoying, but I suspect that most goods wouldn't still be under any sort of guarantee after nearly three years.

You did seem very happy with it originally, so one wonders what has happened to it since.

luckily I have her ladyships lens to use till things warm up . and the macro lens is having a total re-build and should be back next week ,want to really get into macro this year so waiting for the big boy doesnt matter .also give me a chance to try out the wide angle and 28-105 that have not had much use .
