    The House

yes its processed heavy, maybe too heavy for those that like natural looking photos, but this wasn't look I was going for.
Obviously with the angle I knew the verticals would be off a bit :) but I wanted to add some drama int the house.

:) cheers Tom, I do enjoy pushing the limits, but it can be often too much for many, but I don't just want to post postcard photos

        Re: The House

Certainly not a standard postcard. I was just sitting here pondering whether it was too much for me when Mrs R leant over and said, oh that's nice. And she generally likes realism rather than fantasy. So maybe it's not too much. After much consideration I really like it, particularly the foreground texture and the golden top.

we'll lets not argue with the Mrs Alex - I knew this image wouldn't be for all. I've what most would class as a normal processed photo of this building but to be its just boring LOL

cheers Richard, thing is though my friend we are a minority, but the support and interest my images gets on many groups is extremely encouraging.

I really like what you have done with this but I cant help but think what would it look like with dark swirling clouds and lightning - as its the sort of angle and picture you get of a horror house.

my thought exactly and I've even got a few failed images with swapped skies around that theme, although didn't put lightning in. The problem is the harsh sunlight hitting the building, thats what makes it look wrong. I could try to change that light to moonlight but then you wouldn't have the thick clouds would you

Unfortunately not, I did think the sun hitting the building might be a problem with that, but nice to know I wasn't the only one with horror house in my mind LOL.

Is it somewhere nearby for you to revisit on a dark spooky night :D
