    It's a bit chilly ...........

here in Levi, Finland - and snowing too!

It has warmed up a bit ( this is what the Finn's regard as positively tropical) - it was -24 last night.

(This is sent from my tablet - it must be possible to get your photo in portrait mode, but I'm damned if I can work out how - these machines seem to have a mind of their own!)

I've done a VC10 engine change outside in similar to lower temperatures lol in Gander Canada.

We had to assemble it loose or clamps etc woud fracture, then as the engine was running and warming up, run around and tightening everything up. You couldn't touch anything with your bare hands as it would stick to you and spitting on the engine you watched it instantly freeze..

    You keep warm. :)

Well, I thought that spending the week at around -15 was chilly, but just before 10:00 local time this morning, when we left Levi, it was.......

So did you do the iced bucket challenge?

It always amazes me, you stand out in the middle of Arizona... the Sahara.....the Outback... Finland...... Siberia... and someone freezing their nutz off or cooking them, thinks it is a good idea to build a house...town ....city there.

Hey let's be Eskimos and struggle to survive here, instead of moving south and live in comfortable climes with abundant game.....
