nice shot and looks a lot better on flickr - but are you seeing banding in the sky? I've found this a few times recently on my blue hour photos and it can spoil them

yes very slightly, not so much on full screen, but cannot see how to fix it.

I've used a glad filter reducing the clarity can sometimes clear it, but its very annoying when it happens. I had a great blue hour shot and just couldn't clear it, in the end swapped the sky

I've looked at the original size and TBH I can't see any banding although there appear to be some 'blocky' areas of colour - presumably the sky was still cloudy as with your daylight shots? Could be the camera/software attempting to differentiate shades of blue to represent cloud structure that's too faint to see.

Might be worth selecting the sky and applying a Gaussian blur - shouldn't need to be to heavy - to soften the edges between the tonal zones.
