    Free Ride Home

I wanted to try and get two side by side so had to wait around which took ages!!

I didn't notice the guy getting a free ride, till looking at the image on the camera LOL

Had to use "quite" LOL high ISO as well ...gotta love these new cameras and how you can push limits

    Re: Free Ride Home

Considering it's at ISO 25,600, that's a nice image. If you look closely on Flickr you can see the effects of pushing the sensor that far, but as it hits the eye here on the forum, it matters not.

thanks John, yes pushing it that hard does have its problems but I was interested to see how it would cope and if the end result would be a usable image, which I think it is...hopefully I won't being going high again...although it does make you wonder why have a camera that will go to 56k as a standard setting and a silly 128k extended

Lovely image, Ian, great curves in the overhead lines and tracks and I find the shadow on the side wall adds a really dramatic quality. And then the man clinging on adds quirkiness. It has it all!

Super shot....had to have a look on flickr and blow it up....on my screen the full shot blown up would 30" square....so i bet it would print fine at 12 x 12....amazing!
by the way your signature says 5DIII......I think you should be honest about your MkIV as its potentially showing up MKIII users like me!

A great image that works so well in mono (but at that ISO not one to pixel peep )
