    Old Books...




    When i saw them I had an idea for the processing and I've pretty near got what I was after

      Well I like them with one caveat - I think if the 3 white books on the bottom shelf were dark like the rest the ones on the top shelf would become a more definite focal point.

          I quite like it. I think I'd have preferred if the edges of the bookcase were showing as a frame all of the way round. Right now it looks a bit 'incomplete'.

            good point Alex - I used a strong vignette as I thought that would work better - but can you that being an option

                  Hmm, not sure about this one I like that something different is being tried but it's a bit, well, dull and lacking vibrancy for my taste and agree that the upper shelf and side frames would have improved composition.
