I tried out the 100-400mm with the 1.4x extender on the 5d2. Because of the aperture it involves manual focusing which I was never any good at on the 7D2.

I am actually quite impressed, especially as this was taken through a double glazed window.

Very well done Carol. The benefits of clean windows and well worth the practice with the 1.4x. Nice to know you can rely on it when you need it.
