Re: Tbird
Chris,
These will give you an idea of what they do and what is possible, the Cosford one had 11 Jags ( 5 Tbirds and 6 Singles) with some exotic sports cars, Astons etc, An SAR Wessex, ( Sea Harrier, Early Harrier GR3 and ETPS T Bird Harrier, all in different places with lights and smoke, plus they had a high rise platform to take aerial shots down onto the aircraft. A meal was included in the NAAFI and hot drinks and stuff was available to buy throughout the shoot, it also gets you station airside, which is as you know a rarity. Plus they had reenactors that would pose for you.

Re: Tbird
Thanks guys, this series was my first serious attempt at using filters, the tints were used on some of the skies that helped as a basis for processing, this one used a polarising filter to bring out the sky.
As for the Jags, they were not my first choice to be posted onto in the RAF from helicopters and at the time I definitely wasn't a fan, but age mellows you and you look back on them with some affection, the Tbird Jag is one of the few aircraft two seaters that in these eyes enhance the look, rather than detract from the single seater, plus unlike many it gave me the opportunity few will ever experience and that was to fly and do aerobatics in a modern fighter aircraft while on detachment to Gibraltar. Hurtling across the sea at 50 foot flat out to simulate an Exocet attack against a Frigate and then pulling up 7G into the vertical and doing a slow rotational vertical climb to 22,000 ft before rolling out inverted over the said frigate is a memory I will take to my grave, that and looping one, plus supersonic flight etc will remain part of those memories.
