Question about the Sigma 18-300mm f3.5 - 6.3 DC macro OS HSM 'C' lens, please.

Looking to get back into taking 'very bad piccies' again. Choosing between a Canon 750D or Nikon D5300 as they are my price limits.

As I have problems with my fingers not straightening properly, I'm looking at the lens of the post title. My concerns are about how good or bad the purple fringing might be in high contrast situations. I've looked at some samples on flickr and they all seem to be rather good but I've not any way of telling if they have been 'doctored' in editing software or not.

Is there anyone out there that has or has had any experience of said lens? Muchly thankings.

Sorry. How do I get rid of my current list of equipment, please?

Go to "Settings" at the top right, then select "Edit Signature" from the choices on the left side.

I don't have the lens, but as usual I like to look at reviews, like this :
Best digital cameras and lens reviews. If you are looking for the information about digital cameras and lenses you are in a right place. We have many professional tests of digital photography equipment.

They are a very reliable site and consider the chromatic aberration to be better than any of the other similar superzoom lenses. I'd read through the whole review.

The "C" lenses are big improvements at very fair prices, the 100 - 400 is excellent.
