    Loch of the Lowes Reflection

One from last October that which I don't think I've posted on here before. Somewhere in those trees is where the Ospreys nest. Though when I was there and when this image was made the birds had migrated to warmer places.

As always your thoughts and comments are welcome.

Love how you've made so much use of the deep blue in the water. Great composition.

Thanks gentlemen, our visit there was well worth the diversion due to roadworks in the area. The visitors centre was staffed by friendly and knowledgeable people. Very quiet in October but I suspect the hides would be busy when they have Ospreys in residence.

Great shot, the Osprey nest is slightly to the left of your shot, was there 3 weeks ago & the Loch was frozen solid.

Nicely composed, the temptation with shot like this is to go for the symmetrical option but in this case concentrating more on the reflection has really paid off...

Cheers gentlemen, I appreciate you taking time to look and comment.

@Nigel I had the advantage of being on the second floor of one of the hides which gave me the ability to include more of the Loch to capture more of the reflection.
