    Elusive Brown Hares

    Hi All,

Am having real problems finding Hares to photograph, I see a lot, 12 today, but rarely close enough to photograph, here are 3 different ones, all are quite big crops.

Have spent many hours in my Hide freezing with no luck at all apart from the very first day. I know they use the field where I shot many last year, the trails across it are everywhere and well trodden.

I have struggled with my local Hares for the last few months as well , the wet and wind has kept them mainly in the woods and hedges , but have started to see them on the fields though not in the numbers you have , unfortunately for me . A game keeper I am on good terms with is seeing them regularly at night through a thermal imager , he ses they are mostly active in the dark lately .
Not a fan of big crops , but you wouldn`t know they're nice pics .

Now did you "shoot" them with a gun or a Canon, that could account for them being nervous lol.
