    really pleased with this combo ,bet nats looking down and smiling to himself .the top one btw is virtually a 100% crop so well chuffed with the result

      Very nice Jeff. One thing you don't need to be concerned about with mirrorless is MFA - it's all done on the sensor - so focus should be pretty much spot on...
      EOS 7D mk II, Sigma 150-660C, Canon 17-85 EF-S, Tamron 10-24 and a wife who shares my obsession.

          Spot on Jeff.
          Matter of interest can you use any lens with a M camera, say 24-105, 100 macro etc

                or you can get exactly the same with the one I use a meike m-to-ef adaptor circa £23 off of amazon u.k never had a problem with one theres no glass in them or circuitry only a set of brass contacts .

                  I have found some of the older lenses tend to be slower trev . I have yet to try it but a M5 or M6 /M50 body with a 400mm f5.6 would be ideal ,my mate uses m5/400 combo and has captured long tailed tits in flight something that has eluded me so far .

                    Love the feather detail.

                    I have the old 55-250 and it's a prize of a lens for the money, read that the new version is even better and it looks like it.

                        Steve ( LSINWP )
                        1DX, and 7D2 ,500mmf4mkii, 300mmf2.8, 400mm f5.6 , 100mm - 400mmmk2 ,70-200mm f2.8 ,24-105mm f4, 100mm f2.8 macro , 1.4x converter, 2x converter and a big dose of luck !!
