    The day job!

I thought I would share these as something a little different. It's a house that we have recently completed in a very rural setting which required it to be of special architectural merit. Appreciate it won't be to everyones taste, but it is a piece of modern architecture that could well win prizes. You may notice it is an 'upside down' design with sleeping at semi basement level. The photos were taken for my records as the contractor was completing, rather than properly framed photographs, but hope of some interest...

one of my favourite programmes is Grand Designs and this is just the sort of house to drool over.

Is it your house or one designed for a client

        Interesting and impressive....
.........I'm wondering if the architect's CAD is handling horizontals and verticals properly :-)

nice photos and great looking building...although as I live in a house with a large open ceiling the first thing that comes to mind now is heating that empty space !! - but I'm sure you've put something in place to keep heating to a min

Yes it is very highly insulated and even in the snow we had over here a few weeks back the client reported they remained snug and warm.
