Taken with the 200D and 10-18STM mounted on a joby gorillapod on a tree branch...using 10s self timer
f4.5 1/100s ISO400 ..any comments welcome...

Have done similar myself in the past , normally to see how well my cammo works , the budding twig on the left is a bit distracting , and the bright sky a bit over powering , think if you and your pooch moved a little closer and you crouched down it would improve further attempts . Not the easiest thing to do well this selfie lark , but I find them quite interesting when done this way .

Only ever used my phone for a selfie, this is a new take on it.

How did you get your dog to look at the camera?

After years of experience he has learnt to look directly or sometimes slightly away until he hears the shutter and then gallops away....sometimes he can break into a smile

Gee thanks Bo!

I wanted to capture this in documentary style...the great thing about walking a dog across the fields is that everyone just goes as they are...no dressing up.. always wearing comfortable scruffs for practicality. The only problem is when some (usually) ladies appear dressed up usually in a full length cashmere white coat not expecting to have to defend themselves from the muddy paws of a few friendly dogs.
