Stan...do you smooth out the background at all?...looks like a little bit of noise on my monitor. might just be differences in resolution of image and monitor causing this....hope you don't mind me saying...its such an excellent image.

looking closely, I think you are right. Often I use noise reduction on the backgrounds but as this one was cropped in from both sides I dont think I did. Have now done so and replaced the image
