    Otters

I was heading to Elgol to find some new angles on the familiar and stopped by Loch Slappin to take a picture of Bla Bheinn when I spotted the otters. Crept up closer using a rock as cover but they were still way off a full frame. For some reason the AF just didn't seem to want to cooperate and I ended up with one big crop and rather soft shot which took some tweaking.

Lucky you, I would consider that an excellent shot, considering

Yeah...nice one....you might not be able to blow it up to what might have been full potential but it will still print big enough for say a calendar.

Yes, Skylines, you might not consider it meets your high standards, but it well exceeds mine.

Very nice shot never got anywhere near close enough to otters in Skye to take decent images.

                    Thanks,

I have been closer when out canoeing but have never had a camera with me on those occasions. Once watched a pair chasing fish in the shallows of Storr Lochs from about 30 feet away and another time one popped up about 10 feet away, hissed at me, and then swam off.
